Delete your FitBound account

FitBound Online is developed and operated by Sacro Media LLC. You can delete your FitBound Online account and its associated personal data at any time, here on the website or in the app. Either way it is an automated, self-service action that removes or de-identifies your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Delete my account

You do not need to sign in to read this page. The button opens the website's own deletion flow at /account?delete=1. It asks you to sign in again to confirm it is you, with your password or Google, and to type DELETE. Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm. Accounts that sign in with Apple cannot sign in on the website yet: use the app or email instead.

Delete in the app

In the app: open Settings, then Delete account. The app asks you to sign in again to confirm it is you before anything is deleted. If you cannot open the app or sign in on this website, email us (see below).

Request deletion by email

1. Email privacy@fitboundonline.com from the email address connected to your FitBound account.
2. Use the subject line “FitBound account deletion request.”
3. Include your FitBound username, if you have one. Do not send your password.
4. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.

What will be deleted

After verification, we will delete or de-identify your account profile and associated workout, wellness, character, quest, equipment, achievement, and social data under our control. Workouts you shared by link are deleted with your account, so the links stop working.

Timing and limited retention

Your account data is deleted or de-identified within 30 days. When you delete the account yourself, in the app or on this website, this normally happens within seconds. Backup copies age out on our hosting provider's schedule.

A few things are kept after a deletion:

• a minimal record that the deletion happened (your account ID and the email on file at the time), to help prevent fraud and handle disputes. It has no set expiry date;
• reports and your moderation status. These have no set deletion date. The log of each admin or moderation action is deleted after 12 months;
• copyright notices, counter-notices and strike records, kept, including after an account is deleted, for three years after the last action on the notice; removing them after that is currently a manual step we run once a year;
• material removed after a copyright notice, kept out of public view for 90 days after removal, and longer only while a counter-notice or a court action about it is pending;
• store and purchase records, held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their own terms and as tax, accounting, store and consumer-protection law requires;
• legal acceptance records, kept as necessary to document the agreement.

Other records follow the periods in Section 8 of our Privacy Policy.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first, or the store may keep billing you. FitBound's own purchase history is kept until you delete your account.

If you redeemed a campus promo code on this website, the position your browser reported at that moment is kept until you delete your account.
