Availability
Is FitBound available to download?
No. FitBound is a mobile app in development. There's no app-store listing, download link, or release date yet. Join the beta waitlist for updates.
What platforms will FitBound support?
The mobile app is built with React Native for iOS and Android. We haven't confirmed a launch platform order or date.
Accounts
Do I need an account?
Yes. FitBound requires an account to save progress, and the service is intended for users 18 and older. See our Terms of Service for the full eligibility language.
Workouts and verification
How does FitBound verify a workout?
Submitted sessions move through FitBound's current server-side validation rules before they count toward rewards. This is an evolving integrity system, not a claim that every rep is independently observed.
What happens if I log a workout offline?
It's queued locally and syncs — and is verified — once you're back online. Pending sessions are visibly labeled as pending in the app.
Rewards and currencies
What are Forge Coins and Bound Gems?
Forge Coins are an in-app currency earned through training and used in the current crafting/shop prototype. Bound Gems are a premium-currency concept only — there's no live purchasing, price, or cash value attached to them today.
Can training too much give me unlimited rewards?
No. Rewardable effort is capped server-side so the system doesn't push unsafe training volume in pursuit of faster progress.
Nutrition and AI
Can I scan a barcode or take a photo of my food?
Not yet. Manual calorie, macro, and water logging are current features. Barcode and photo-based capture are a planned direction — not live, and not something we'll claim accuracy for until it ships.
Are nutrition numbers medical advice?
No. Calorie and macro estimates are planning tools, not clinical guidance. They don't replace advice from a doctor or registered dietitian.
Body diagram
Is the muscle recovery map a medical tool?
No. It's a training-context visualization built from a simplified, non-anatomical body model. It doesn't diagnose injury or confirm you're medically safe to train.
Social and game systems
Can I add friends or trade items?
Friends, trading, and guild play are a planned direction, not a live feature today. Nothing in the current app implies an active social network or open trading.
Is there an MMO or VR mode?
No — that's long-term future vision only, not a current or scheduled product. Read the honest version on the Future World page.
Price and privacy
How much will FitBound cost?
We haven't published pricing. No subscription price or Bound Gem bundle is final, and we won't publish one until store products, entitlements, and legal terms are ready.
