Health and Fitness Disclaimer

General wellness only
FitBound Online provides general fitness, nutrition, wellness, and entertainment information. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, monitor, or prevent any disease or condition. It does not create a clinician-patient, dietitian-client, trainer-client, or other professional relationship.
Consult a qualified professional
Consult a physician or other qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing exercise or nutrition, particularly if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery, taking medication, living with a medical condition, or have concerns about exercise safety. Use a qualified trainer for technique, spotting, equipment, and load selection when appropriate.
Never disregard professional advice because of information in FitBound.
Exercise risk
Exercise can cause overexertion, falls, equipment failure, dehydration, musculoskeletal injury, cardiovascular events, or death. You voluntarily assume the ordinary risks of activities you choose, except to the extent a risk cannot legally be waived.
Before each session:
- assess pain, illness, fatigue, dizziness, environmental conditions, and equipment condition;
- use appropriate warm-up, technique, safety stops, collars, spotters, footwear, hydration, and facility rules;
- select a load and range of motion you can control;
- do not attempt an unfamiliar maximum-effort lift without appropriate supervision;
- do not interact with the app while a movement requires your full attention.
Stop immediately if you experience chest pain, faintness, severe shortness of breath, sudden weakness, confusion, unusual heart rhythm, or sharp/worsening pain. Seek emergency or qualified medical help as appropriate.
Recommendations and load estimates
Generated plans and suggested loads are estimates derived from the information available. Height, body weight, age, experience, prior sets, effort ratings, equipment, sensor signals, and population data cannot establish what is safe for an individual.
Beginners and users without adequate history must receive conservative recommendations. Maximum-effort testing must default off for beginners and for any future minor account. A “1–5” effort rating is subjective and does not guarantee safe progression.
Nutrition and food images
Calorie and nutrient estimates can be materially inaccurate. A photograph cannot reliably identify all ingredients, portion sizes, allergens, preparation methods, contamination, or food safety. Confirm entries and use verified labels or a qualified professional for needs involving allergies, eating disorders, pregnancy, kidney disease, diabetes, medication interactions, or another medical concern.
FitBound does not endorse extreme restriction, purging, unsafe dehydration, unapproved substances, performance-enhancing drugs, or disordered eating.
Health and location data
Wearables and phones can miss activity or report inaccurate steps, heart rate, energy, sleep, distance, and location. Verification status is a game-integrity signal, not a medical conclusion. The absence of a warning does not mean an activity is safe.
AI disclosure
FitBound software, recommendations, classifications, estimates, and content may be produced or improved using artificial intelligence. AI can hallucinate, misclassify, omit risks, and produce unsafe suggestions. Review every output and do not rely on AI for medical or emergency decisions.
Acceptance
By accepting this Disclaimer, you confirm that you understand these limitations and will use your own judgment and qualified professional advice. This Disclaimer supplements, and does not replace, rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
