Request data deletion

You can request deletion of specific FitBound Online data — without deleting your whole account. This is different from closing your account entirely; see Delete Your FitBound Account if you want everything gone, including your login itself.

How to request

Email privacy@fitboundonline.com from the address on your account, stating what you'd like deleted — for example, your workout history, your location history, or all of your data. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request. FitBound doesn't currently have an in-app or web self-service tool for deleting individual data types; every request is handled manually by email.

What can be deleted

• Profile information
• Workout and exercise history
• Nutrition and food-log entries
• Body measurements
• Saved/home gym and location-verification history
• Avatar/profile photo
• In-app social data — friends, guild membership, and trade history

What's retained, and why

Some information can't be deleted immediately, or at all, because of how it's used or what the law requires:

• Meal photos sent for AI analysis are deleted immediately after the response — they're never stored to begin with.
• Security and anti-fraud logs are kept for up to 12 months.
• Store, purchase, and financial records are kept as required by tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law.
• Encrypted backup remnants age out within 90 days.
• Legal acceptance records are retained as necessary to document the agreement.

This may affect app functionality

Deleting specific data while keeping your account can change how FitBound works for you — for example, deleting your workout history also removes the progress tracking built from it. We'll process the request as you've described it; if you're not sure what a given deletion will affect, ask before you request it.
